I must read 20 things a day that speak of impending doom: from global warming (which I believe) to the wrath of God smiting the planet just because Adam and Steve tied the knot in Massachusetts (which I don't). Both forecast the Reckoning; both coming from very opposite directions. The theme is the inevitable doom that will rain down upon us. Maybe it is true, and the Apocalypse is coming. It wouldn't be the first time. The signs are all there. After all, there are cats and dogs living together in my house in relative harmony. Heresy!
